How does Hoodia work?
Hoodia is a herbal weight loss supplement. Hoodia contains a complex of biologically active substances which work by suppressing appetite and enhancing metabolism. Hoodia gordoni extract also helps to decrease the amount of triglyceride and low-density lipoproteins in the blood. Hoodia extract contains a compond P57 which helps to inhibit the center of hunger in the brain.

Hoodia is prescribed in the complex treatment of weight in patients with BMI over 27 (in combination with healthy diet and physical exercises)
Before taking Hoodia
You should not take Hoodia if any of these conditions apply to you:

Hoodia should be used with caution in the following conditions:
- Liver dysfunction
- Kidney dysfunction
Application during pregnancy and breastfeeding:

How Hoodia is taken?
You should take Hoodia exactly as indicated by your physician. Do not exceed recommended dosages. Follow the directions of your prescription. Hoodia tablets should taken one or several times daily with sufficient amount of water swallowing whole.
What should I do if I miss a dose?
You should take the medication as soon as possible. If its already time to your next dose, you should skip the missed dose. Do not take 2 doses at the same time.
What should I do if I overdose?
There are no known cases of Hoodia overdose. Seek medication attention if you took too much of Hoodia tablets
Which Hoodia side effect are possible while the treatment?
As with any drug, there are some side effects while may occur while taking Hoodia. However, not everyone who takes Hoodia will experience side effects. In fact, most patients taking Hoodia tolerate it well. During clinical trials there were reported the following Hoodia side effects:
- Skin rash
- Itching
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Dyspepsia
- Stomach pain
- Urticaria
- Headache
